Professional Experience

Victor Nobrega Luccas is a lawyer with experience in strategic litigation and complex queries, focusing on civil (contracts, real estate, corporate, family and succession) and tax areas. He has worked mainly in the machinery and equipment, real estate, health, and construction industries.

He is responsible for the coordination of strategic litigation of MLuis Advogados Associados, with emphasis on the drafting of theses of high technical complexity, risk assessment, and definition of the strategic approach of cases.

His knowledge of economics, accounting, financial mathematics, and statistics, as well as advanced techniques of legal argumentation, allows him to assess economic and financial impacts for our clients.

Throughout his career, he has taken on a variety of legal activities, advising individuals and legal entities, including:

  • Civil litigation in Brazil, including contractual, real estate, corporate, family and succession disputes, consumer and executions;

  • Practice in administrative and judicial tax litigation, with broad experience in tax execution;

  • Preparation of queries and expert opinions on tax planning, regularization of assets and capital abroad, and recovery of tax liabilities;

  • Preparation of queries and expert opinions related to contractual, real estate, corporate and administrative law;

  • Assistance in negotiations, closures, and revision of contracts, with special emphasis on corporate contracts, national and international;

  • Legal assistance in various issues and corporate transactions involving company opening, closing, restructuring, division, and acquisition, as well as the drafting of contracts, minutes, queries, and expert opinions;

  • Legal due diligence procedures.

Education and Academic History

  • Bachelor of Law from FGV Law SP. Ph.D. and master’s in international law philosophy from the Faculty of Law of São Paulo, University of Sao Paulo;

  • Visiting researcher at the University of Groningen, Netherlands;

  • Professor and researcher at FGV Law SP, focusing on the new technologies and their impacts on the law;
